At five weeks pregnant your fetus will look like a tiny speck if it's even able to be seen. 8 weeks is the normal time for your first ultrasound and even then it will look like a small bean. Not until around 12-14 weeks will it look human.

Depending on the quality of the ultrasound machine you will be able to see a fetal pole and possibly a sack at five weeks pregnancy.

I had a friend who once told me that they looked like gummy bears. I think that is pretty accurate.

All i saw was a sac. nothing else

On an ultrasound, if you were 5 weeks pregnant, you would see what looks like a little black dot. That is the embryo
