At a party, you should dress nicely. A cocktail or "little black dress" is appropriate. Add some high heels, but not too high. Few inches. Don't forget some bold make-up.

Depending on what kind of party it is you can wear a summer dress since you can wear it with heels or sandals. Maybe even capris with a tank top.
