Kiger's are intelligent, hardy, and a wonderful mount. Sure footed, level headed, known for ability to carry riders over rough terrain with ease. Durable- able to keep a steady pace for a long time, covering a lot of ground. Good horses, easy to look at and be around.

They were probably chosen for this work because of their intelligent, gregarious, easy-going personality. If you have horse experience, you should have no trouble at all. If you are just learning, this is a good breed to start with. Just follow the instructions of the Wrangler, be kind, quiet and gentle as you would with any horse.

Kiger Mustangs have a lot of stamina and are very hardy and sure-footed. They typically make for a very comfortable ride and do especially well on uneven ground.

Keiger Mustangs are stock type horses, known for strength, sure footedness, intelligence, and kind dispositions. Your guides at the ranch should have information for you, specifically for your mount. Keigers tend to have distinctive color, being generally duns and buckskins. Average height is 14. 2 to 15 hands, they are very suitable mounts for riding and working in rough country.

You have to be an experienced rider to ride any kind of Mustang. Mustangs are very nimble, quick, and smart. They can move out from underneath you quicker than you can say hello. Make sure you are an experienced rider (years) before trying to ride a Mustang. Better to be safe than sorry.

Mustangs are no different from other horses. If the horse was rescued or from the wild it may be a bit more temper mental, so be careful.
