You need a good business plan which evaluates if there is a need for this business in your locale. Bare bones, you need at least $15,000 dollars for rent of a small facility, stock etc, and that is a very conservative estimate. You need to evaluate the best marketing and advertising options to get the most bang for your buck.

You need a business plan on how to reach customers and how to fulfil their needs. Most of all you need to make sure you can price to make money

You need unique offerings. You need customers. You need a website. Do not bother with storefront, though you could offer your products to craft stores.
