The Czech currency is the koruna, which replaced the Czechoslovak koruna in 1993. The Czech Republic has suspended plans to start using the Euro.

The official currency of the Czech Republic is the Koruna (or the Czech Crown) and the identifier is CZK. One Crown is further divided into 100 hellers. However, the Czech Republic is transitioning over to the Euro, and many shops will accept the Euro as payment for goods or services.
