Green gums are signed of severe decay. This could be caused by improper maintenance of dental hygiene. People with green gums should visit their dentist immediately because green gums could an early sign of tooth decay and tooth loss. To prevent green gums, daily tooth brushing and flossing are recommended.

If we do not brush our teeth properly there mighi be happen green gums. It happens mouth odor and creats pain.

Discoloration of gingiva can be cuase due to varied reasons like inflamation, diminished blood supply or an underlying medical problem. Green discoloration of gingiva can be a menifestation of an underlying amalgam fillinf which has corroded. It may be also caused by localised periodontitis but green gingiva due to this is very unlikely.
