You may have some kind of vascular or heart problem. Swollen ankles usually indicate that your heart isn't pumping well enough to move the water out of your legs. Chest pressure and numbness may indicate a malfunctioning heart or arteries that are being blocked! Run to your doctor. Now!

It could indicate a serious condition if you have had it chronically, or if it is a sudden onset it could indicate a heart attack. For these symptoms you must see your doctor right away. He or she can tell you whether it is a serious condition or something minor.

This sounds like a heart related problem. Congestive heart failure causes swelling and the pressure and numbness are a few of the symptoms which are often associated with a heart attack.

Chest pressure can be a medical emergency. It sounds like you are having cardiac symptoms. Ankle swelling could be a sign of heart failure. Numbness and pressure going from your chest into your hand could be a sign you are having a heart attack. You need to be evaluated in an emergency room.
