What could be causing white patches on my palm leaves?

Probably is a nitrogen deficiency but can be corrected buying a nitrogen fertilizer and applied it. Is the palm is short you can do a circle around the palm and bury it.

There are many causes that could be causing white patches. If you are in an area with a lot of pollen then the white stuff could be the pollen on the palm leaves. If there are red dots crawling they could be a sign of many of the white patches.

The white patches are most liked caused by some sort of deficiency. I would fertilize the tree and see if they go away.
