Could possibly be inflammation of the joint. Other options are torn cartilage, strained muscles, or possibly arthritis of the joint. You'd probably need to visit a doctor to find out for certain.

Well it could be a problem with your nerves or your muscles. So you basically should get a massage down in that area and in that sense the pain will go away. What else can you do? Go to the doctor and get some ointment cream that will help you out.

This could be a possible inflammation of the joint above your hip. Perhaps a torn cartilage, strained muscles or maybe even an early start of arthritis. Many things could be causing this along with a pinched nerve or just over all joint problems. If the pain persists then seek a doctor.

It could be lots of things. It could be arthritis that is always possible, it may even be a form of osteoporosis. It could also be bone cancer, which is a lot more serious. It could also be that you have some overall joint problems and that is just where the problem is starting.

I get that pain also. I have been to the doctor and he has said that I have arthritis in the hip after taking x-rays. The pain could be from over use? It could also be a muscle tear. It might be a good idea to go to the doctor if the pain persists.

While it is possible that you could have a slight hair line fracture, several culprits could be at work here. Overdoing it with strenuous exercise and arthritis are all common causes of this problem.

This could be an early sign of arthritis in the hip. It could also be caused by an injury, such as a hard shock while walking. Climbing stairs or carrying a heavy load could also aggravate the joint, such as favoring that leg. See a doctor for a diagnosis.
