It could be a new soap, laundry detergent or doederant that is causing you to have an allergic reaction. Another possibility could be a heat rash.

It could be an allergy to an ingredient or if it is an anti-perspirant deodorant the sweat glands could have become clogged and infected. Another possible explanation is an irritation caused by excessive moisture.

Any number of things can cause a rash under your arms, if you are a woman you may have "razor burn" from shaving, you may be allergic to your underarm deoderant, you may have a skin infection like scabies they love warm areas and leave red little lines that can look like a rash.

It could be new clothing that worn before washing, the material in clothing and even an allergic reaction to something you ate. Stress is another thing that can cause rashes. Rashes are hard to pin point what is causing them.

If you have recently shaved under your arms a red rash with bumps could be caused by the razor irritating the skin. This is called razor burn and is only temporary until the skin heals. Powder helps soothe it and dries the area.
