What climate is right for lantanas?

What areas of the US are good for it?

These flowering plants come in many shades, such as yellows, pinks, and combinations thereof. Those with fruit, when ripe, look like blueberries. Lantanas do best in a warmer natural environment, such as subtropical or warmer. For example, ou can find them in Austrialia - or the southern USA or India. They are native to tropical climates.

This lantanas are tolerate in hot and dry area. Occasional watering is necessary for the survival. Areas such as Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico have a good fit for a lantana. Do remember that the lantana is poisonous. But does attract many different kinds of butterflies. Also an occasional hummingbird too.
