Dash lights flickering can be caused by several things, primarily a short circuit in your vehicles electrical system. First thing to diagnose the problem is to check for loose connections, such as battery cables, and alternator connections. Also get your battery and alternator tested to make sure that there is adequate power between the two components.

with out knowing more about your issues it could be a list of things. Take it to a local auto parts store and they will hook it to a lap top and let you know whats wrong with it.

Flickering lights could be caused by several things. One possibility is the wiring. Perhaps a wire along the way is frayed or corroded, decreasing its effectiveness. It may also have to do with the body control computer, which might be found towards the front, in the engine panel attached to the fuse box.

The fuses in the side box may be loose or failing- check the corresponding fuse according to your manual. The indicator lights themselves may be failing if te fuses are fine. If other lights or electrical are also failing it may be a bad alternator which is the root of the problem.

There are fuses that control everything in the car. You might have a fuse that it in the process of blowing out. Check the fuse for the dash lights (in the manual). Also, the bulbs to those indicators could be faulty. That is something that I recommend gets checked and fixed by a professional.

Most probably it's a short circuit to the wires. I would always chack the fuses too. Have your mechanic do a full electrical components on the computer check-up also.

The dash lights flicker because the BCM(body control module) is bad. It is located under the left side of the dashboard directly behind the fuse box. Check the tag on the right side of the BCM and write down the P/N(part number) so you can order a new one.

Some cars have an adjustable knob for the dash lights, if this is going bad it could cause flickering. If it flickers over bumps it could be a loose connection, and if it flickers all the time it could be a really loose connection. It's most likely a problem with the connection than it is the bulbs behind the dash.

Flickering lights can be a sign that your alternator is starting to go. Other tell tale signs are that the car is becoming harder and harder to crank, as the battery will become weaker and weaker. If you are driving the car, and the more accessories you have on cause the lights to flicker more, it is the alternator going.

More than likely you have a loose connection inside your dash panel. To fix you may need to remove the dash and check all wires and connections.

Well it probably caused by one of two things. Either there is a short in the system and is causing a surge or the ground for the light is loose and is losing contact. I would check all the under dash wiring.
