Zebra grass is a type of maiden grass. This ornamental grass does best in hot climates, though they don't do quite as well in locations that don't get as cold in the winter. They are adaptable through plant hardiness zones 5 to 9. Best results come from full sun with sufficient moisture.

Zebra grass is found rare and exotic. It can be exposed to full sun. And its height is 4-7'. It produces flower in the late summer with silver white color. We cannot plant this plant in a place which experiences standing water in winter. The pruning can be done in early period of spring season.
