What can you tell me about the seed pods for a yucca?

The seed pods of yucca are green and about 2 inches long and 2 inches around when young. The seeds inside are black. When the pods become mature they start to become brown in colour. When the pods get dry and start to crack the seeds are ready to be harvested.

Allow the seed pods of the wisteria to turn brown and become dry. On the yucca, the pods are as you describe and when dry, they begin to open up. You should be able to identify the seeds as flat and black, They generally germinate better after a cold treatment but it has not been my experience that
