Water contains diverse electrolytes in it that transform into salt when the water evaporates. Tap water besides the usual electrolytes like sodium, calcium and so forth contains larger amounts of chlorine for inhibiting bacterial growth. Pure water evaporates more easily than tap water, since it contains no electrolytes (like chlorine) that bind the water molecules to them.

Chlorine is related to tap water. Allways the tap water may not good. To purify the tap water clorine is useful. Evapration means convert in to vapour. I think evapration is not related to tap water.

Chlorine is added to tap water to kill bacteria and parasites. When tap water is exposed to air, part of it evaporates. For a water storage device, glass of water or exposed pipe, this leaves more chlorine in parts per million of remaining water. This makes the water taste far worse, while it rarely reaches the point of health hazard.
