A suspension bridge math problem is generally utilized in Algebra 2 courses. This problem is utilized in conjunction when learning about parabolas. The bridge in the problem is a concave up parabola that is held up by two structures at different heights and distances apart. In calculus, harder suspension bridge problems are given.
