If the crank is bent there is no repairing it. If the bearing mating surface is scored lightly, 2000 grit sandpaper can be used to get it smooth.

If you are inexperienced with engine repair or any knowledge of engines, you should not attempt to repair an engine crankshaft. Take it in to be inspected at a automotive shop. There are special machines there that can help repair the crankshaft for you.

crankshaft repair on small engines is simple. make sure that the crankshaft is not worn to the point that a new bearing will not fit.
