It's a relaxer. It calms natural curly hair and makes the frizz move out. In some cases you get straight hair but that depends if the curls strong or not so strong.

Since I have used Rusk products many times I can tell you their products always deliver. They are very reliable and usually worth the "not so cheap" price. I have used Rusk Radical Cream and it is awesome!
