What can you tell me about cooking spaghetti ahead of time for a fundraiser?

Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. As soon as it is done, take the pot off the stove and add a cup of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain the spaghetti, and package it it plastic freezer bags. To re-heat, place the spaghetti in boiling water for 1 minute and drain.

Cook the noodles a little over halfway and store them in water until it is time. When they are reheated they will retain a good texture through out the service.

It can be done however if if you cook it ahead of time you will need to strain it dry and coat it with some type of oil.
