Bermudagrass is also known by the names 'Kweekgra' and 'couch grass'. You will most often see this grass being used at sports fields and arenas as specialized turf. Bermuda grass in it's natural form is found most often in areas with high rainfall. In fact, this grass is often considered a troublesome weed in crops such as corn and cotton.

If you don't want Bermuda grass mixed in with your grass your best bet to get rid of it would be to use Roundup.
