Can you cultivate Bermuda grass and rye grass in Texas?

Yes, but the Bermuda will appear to die off in the winter. Actually, it's just dormant, it will green up again in spring. Rye can be over seeded into the Bermuda as soon as it gets yellow/brown. Rye will not survive hot summer temps and must be reseeded every fall.

I know there are people who do it but I wouldn't recomend it I have seen alot of people wipe out a great crop of it by doing that. My best advice for you is to try a google search there is a ton of great info you can find.

yes you can cultivate Bermuda grass and rye grass in Texas. all you have to do is make sure the gass and turf stays moist
