First check to be sure the child safety control switch was not inadvertently turned on, then check your fuse to that window & swapout to see if it needs replacement. If you still have problem see if you can push it up to shut it manually. See a professional otherwise.

If the power window will not close you can call an auto glass man and have them tell you whats wrong and you can fix it your self.

The first step is to open your door. There should be a few screws in the door handle other then that you should be able to off th inside panel. There are clips so dont worry if its hard. From here you can manually push the window and holding bar up, as well as find the problem.

Only if you can pull off the door panel yourself. Either the window is off track or the motor is blown. I would let a mechanic repair your window.

Check junkyards for your year/make/model for a cheap replacement motor, otherwise buy a new one from a place like NAPA. If you can get the panel off yourself then yes.

You can fix it yourself if you have the owners manual. You probably have a bad motor on that window. You take off the panel and you will see it.

If a power window will not close, check to see if you hear the motor running orticking sound. If no sound then the motor has gone bad and will need to be replaced. If you here ticking then it is off of its track. Both are fixable on your own.
