Feed him foods that are more appealing such as canned foods or chicken and rice in order to have him eating more. Some dogs don't like the taste of the food that they are on and so try changing the food. You can also increase the amount of treats availble.

Find a wet dog food that is high in protein. The Protein will cause your dog to start to gain more weight.

First, make sure that you are feeding the dog the correct amount. I found that I should be giving my dog 1 cup of food a day and I wasn't.

Try to give the dog another meal, or just try to add more food per meal. Maybe ask your vet to give you some idea for a proper diet to put the pounds back on your puppy.

Does it eat properly? Are there any signs of infection or worms? Try feeding it half a cup more dog food if a small dog, more if a large dog.
