Women diagnosed with low-grade dysplasia will often recover without treatment. More frequent pap smears are recommended until dysplasia is resolved. High-grade dysplasia may be corrected by destruction or removal of the affected area. Destruction is generally chosen for milder cases and is accomplished through a loop electrosurgical excision procedure, cold knife conization or a hysterectomy.

Depends on how bad the dysplasia is. Most of the time they will do cryo-surgery to remove it. This involves freezing the bad cells. It is mildly uncomfortable.

There are many treatment options for dysplasia caused by HPV. Most doctors will suggest that you have cryo surgery in order to freeze the damaged cells or they could do what is considered to the Leep procedure.

You will need to have a procedure called Leep done; it's an out patient thing but can be rather painful.
