What are you supposed to do with old computer monitors?

I put mine out with the trash and the city wouldn't take it.

You could bring your old computer monitor into a store like Best Buy. They will recycle it for $10, but you get a 10$ gift card back. Some cities will not take them at all, or they will charge $25 to do so. There are many stores that recycle around the world.
