What are ways to pay for a funeral when there is no money to do so?

Call the public administrator in their area,as indigent burial assistance. they will help in cremation. The county that man expired will cremate him. Most churches won't charge anything.

This answer depends on the deceased situation. If they ever worked, you may be able to contact social security and receive some money from them. You may also be able to set up a payment plan with the funeral home, but that is the sole decision of the funeral home and some do not accept payment plans.
