Workaholics are people who sacrifice too much of their personal life for work. They neglect personal responsibilities, family, and friends for work. They tend to work even longer hours then their boss requires and take their work home with them as well.

The person cares about working more than about his/her family. He/she spends a lot of time working, talks about work a lot and seem his/her life is all about work. The person has hardly any time off work and he/she does, they still think about work.

A person who works all the time with little regard to his/her family. Obviously their job means more to them than their husband/wife/and children. He/She can't get away from their cell phone because they are so worried about work or what they may miss while they are away from the office.
