Chest pain is the main symptom of Costochondritis and will lead to a feeling of tightness in the chest. The pain is most common after exercise or manual work and tends to get worse when you move or if you take a deep breath.

The main symptom of costochondritis is chest pain that can be reproduced by pushing on the cartilage on the front of the ribcage. Costochondritis is usually harmless and goes away.

I had Costochondritis and the pain was almost unbarable but there are differnt kinds. Costochondritis is inflamation of 1 mussucle my doctor said Devils grip is inflamation of many. Now i dont know if its still called devils grip or not but thats what he said. Hope you feel better!

Some symptoms include pain when coughing or sneezing, pain in the chest and rib area, trouble breathing and some swelling.

Costochondritis is usually associated with referred pain at the chest area wherein the ribs attach to the sternum or chest plate. Feelings of difficulty in breathing also may be present.
