A pathological liar isn't just a person who has a problem telling the truth, it's a person who has gone so far that they don't even know the truth because they have lied for so much and for so long they believe what they are saying. They have made it into a way of life.

Apparent symptoms of this condition would include a compulsive and repeated pattern of lying. An individual with afflicted with this feels strongly compelled to tell untruths, even when it provides no obvious benefit to them. In some intances, this can be understood as lying for the sake of lying.

A pathological liar never tells the truth even when there is no reason to lie. The other thing is they lie to everyone about everything and are just sneaky.
