Gallbladder problems are usually chronic. Some complaints are nausea, vomiting, indigestion and gas due to the inability to digest fatty foods. When a gallbladder attack occurs it usually starts with pain on the right side of the ribcage. The pain then travels to other parts of the body, including hands, shoulders and back.
