What are the stereotypes of people that are poor?

A common stereotype that a lot of people have about poor people is that its all their fault they are poor. Another is that they are poor because they are drug addicts, which is not neccessarily true in a lot of cases. Another misconception is people are born into poverty and don't try to get out.

Some stereotypes of the poor are that they are dirty, lazy, sickly, likely to commit crimes (especially theft), uneducated, and stupid.
