What are the risks of using birth control to delay your period?

The birth control medicines are ok for few times but using it regularly will lead to uterus problems like over bleeding,painful periods and sever headache. The continuous usage may result in canser in long run. Your body weight may increase and jointpain may start to trouble in your old age. During your manopause stage your emotions may go uncontrol.

The birth control pills are not supposed to be taken to control your periods because it is called EC pills which brings down the level of ooestrogen level so much that your hormonal levels are altered. This might directly or indirectly affect your behaviourThere are special pills to postpone your periods.

If you intend to use birth control pills to delay your period, use a variety already approved for this purpose after talking to your doctor. Usage of birth control does not delay your period. It is used to get regulate your period so it comes every month. If you're period is delayed you might be pregnant and better see your doctor for tests. Not all birth control is 100% accurate, and only you and your doctor should discuss this.
