A C-Section is a major surgery. The main risks are bleeding, infection and adverse reaction to anesthesia, etc. After a woman has had her first c-section (or any other abdominal surgery) she's also at risk for surgical adhesions. These adhesions can lead to excessive bleeding post-operatively.

The risk for each individual C-section would be the same as with any surgery - allergic reactions to drugs, adverse reaction to anesthesia, infection, surgical error, etc, up to and including death. There is also the risk of incisional hernia, especially if a patient is noncompliant regarding lifting restrictions. Though all surgery carries some risk, if it's necessary, think positive.

Doctors are very careful about c-sections. Usually they like for you to stop after 4 because of your body. The wear and tear of cutting through your tummy and all the scar tissue makes it risky on you. Your uterus could rupture and cause massive bleeding and sometimes it cannot be stopped and death will occur.

Most doctors warn against too many c-sections if at all possible. The risk to the mother is much higher than a vaginal birth. Some of these risks are more prone to blood clots, the need for more blood transfusions and more seriously more prone to develop a condition called placenta accreta which can be fatal.

Very often, when a baby is delivered via C-section, subsequent births will also be C-section. There is a concern that the uterus may pull apart at the incision scar later on. In addition, the difficulties that precluded vaginal birth likely continue, thus necessitating future C-sections. The only risks would be those associated with any surgery.

Most risks following multiple C-sections are rare but these risks increase with each successive C-section. Adhesions and scars can cause further complications or pain, rupture of the placenta or the placenta covering the cervix can cause abnormal bleeding requiring blood transfusions.

Im addition to the inceased risk of surgerical problems with the multiple operations. The general concern was a weaking og the underlying tissues, leading to difficulty with your abdomal muscles

With each C-section you have, there is weakening of the uterine wall. In the worst case, this can lead to uterine rupture and possible death due to bleeding out.

There are several risks inclusing uterine rupture, adhesions and scar tissue, placenta previa and placenta accreta. Scar tissues causes most of the issues because it leads to many of the other problems.

You should be fine. Doctors recommend a maximum of three C-Sections. There is also a recommended waiting period between procedures of two years. Good Luck!!!
