Business to Business trade occurs when a company provides a service used by other businesses rather than individual consumers. One example would be management consultants. Others would be marketing companies like digital agencies. A few more: stationery or office supply catalogs, corporate accountacy firms, or parts companies supplying PC manufacturers.

There are numerous real world examples of business to business (B2B) selling, for instance Intel Corp. selling micro processing chips to Apple Corp. or Allison Transmission Company selling transmissions to Ford Motor Company. It is simply one business selling its products to another business and not to a consumer (you).
