What are the pros and cons of raising a cocker spaniel miniature?

I'm thinking of getting one.

Answer by  Lepi (314)

The pros- miniature cocker spaniels stay pretty small, so they are good for apartments and cost less to feed than bigger dogs. The cons- cocker spaniels are pretty aggressive dogs. They tend to snap, not good for small children. They also require a lot of grooming to keep their fur clean.

If you're lucky you will get a friendly spaniel. These cocker spaniels are known to not like children. The good part is most of them can get along with adults.

Con: These are usually just the runt of the litter. These puppies could have medical issues. Pro: They are absolutely adorable.
