What are the pros and cons of a top load washer vs front load washer?

Top load washers are great for people who have difficulty bending over. Top load washers also give you a better perspective to peer into your wash. a front load washer is a great option because it gives you an avaialble surface on top of the untit for storage or extra space to help sort your laundry.

Top loading washers are good because we are used to them, simpler less buttons, front loaders have to many options and are harder to use overall.

A top load washer means easier loading and less dropping of clothes. A front load washer is good because you can pull clothes directly out of the basket into the washer. The bad thing about front load washers is that most have a mold and mildew issue.

Pros of front loader: no distributing clothes, no agitator, better for clothes. Bigger loads, spins faster,removes more water so less time in dryer. Uses less water 20 gallons versus 45 gallons in top loader. Cons: need to bend removing clothes, can't add clothes, special detergent, appliance more expensive $300-$400 more.
