The Beastie Boys, who are still around after 30 years of hip hop, jammin' and mosh pits, began as a punk rock group back in 1979. Adam "MCA" Yauch and Michael "Mike D" Diamond were there from the start, along with Kate Schellenbach on drums and John Berry on guitar.
