To qualify for a handicap parking sticker or license plate, you usually need to have a doctor fill out a form that states you have special needs that would be assisted be closer parking. This can be anything from a physical handicap, obescity, pregnancy, to a mental disorder. It mostly depends on your doctor's opinion.

You may need a written statement from your doctor to get a handicap parking designation for your vehicle. Once you have that you can park in the handicap parking spaces which is very convenient for individuals that have trouble walking. The handicap parking spaces are closer to entrances of stores and malls.

If you have a driveway and somebody is parking across it, it may be possible to ask the police to warn them for causing an obstruction.
