The first symptoms of E. Coli are usually nausea. This can then be followed by a fever and diarrhea. Diarrhea is the body's way of attempting to flush toxins from the digestive tract. The E. Coli also irritates the wall of the large intestine, causing gastroenteritis, which leads to diarrhea.
