You can try to use a little bit of mild soap, with water, on a dust-free cloth. You can buy a small machine, for about $20, that will repair it. For this method, you will also want to use a dust-free cloth. And never wipe in circles, but from the middle to the edge.

Many record stores sell a system that fixes scratched cd's by rotating a handle. I use toothpaste, some water, and a clean cotton shirt.
