Vinegar can be used for killing up to 99 percent of bacteria, 80 percent of different types of molds and viruses as well as deodorize your drains including sinks and showers. Vinegar can also be used to remove grease, stickers and sticker residue and pet urine stains and even remove rust.

According to medical professionsals it does not help gerd. I have read it helps in some people and some it does not. It is sort of psychosymatic. It works if you think it will work. I guess everyones gerd is different and it depends on how vinegar will react with your gerd. If any works it is cider vinegar.
