What are the differences between coast guards and navy seals?

Answer by  lynn (821)

coast guards are for guarding the coast of our country. The navy seals have more extensive and extreme training to go into hostile territory and do rescue missions to get hostages out or do recon to get information about the area or the people or terrorists. The coast guard have none of this type of training.

Well or starters the Coast Guard and Navy are two different branches. Personally I think the Coast Guard is light years ahead of every other branch if your looking to join. CG is more laid back and the Navy is more, well like the military.
