The best inks and supplies for home tattooing are; none! It is not possible to have "best ink and supplies" for home tattooing because it is not safe at all. You can never be sure that products are not being re-used and that they were properly sterilized.

First off I wouldn't recomend doing it at home. But, you will need indian ink, as it is the only ink that will be perminent. Along with that you will need a tattoo gun. You can buy one online as well as the ink at The tattoos done professionally always look best as i have some of each.

This really is a very easy question to answer. NO one should be doing home tattooing. This needs to be dealt with by a professional who is certified in the knowledge one needs to complete a tattoo in a clean envirement. This is why there are such stringent laws to protect you from hurting yourself.

An autoclave sterilizer for equipment is the first thing needed. Never give or get a tattoo unless you are confident that everything is properly sterilized. Beyond that, always buy professional needles and inks from a supplier of tattooing equipment. Never put ink from an art supply store in your body.

The best type of ink to use is any type of indian ink. Ink from pens are too thick. You can use regular sewing needles and thread its not really that important as long as its clean and sterile you dont cause too much scaring it should turn out fine.
