According to consumer reviews, the best food processors are the Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus and the KitchenAid KFP750. The Cuisinart is great at slicing vegetables and the KitchenAid is has a larger bowl along with a small container for those smaller jobs. The Hamilton Beach ChefPrep also rates very high but is lower in cost.

As a trained chef in my opinion if you are going to buy a food processor, Cusinart makes the best ones for home use.
