dental care

Question by  SashaDarkCloud (5764)

What are the best dental adhesives?

Answer by  SriLanka (264)

If you are asking about denture creams, you should pick one without Zinc, because there is evidence that it is poisonous. If you are inquiring about dental cements, then you really need to talk to a dentist about it - that is not something that you should do on your own.

Several brands manufacture adhesives in both paste and powder form that offer a long lasting hold, especially during and after meals. The best brands to try are Poligrip, Fixodent, and DentureGrip. Some come with a fresh mint taste which is an added bonus.

I think that Fixodent has the best adhesive. My grandmother who is about 90 years old uses Fixodent for her dentures and never has an issue. She can eat all normal foods, etc. with no problem.

The best dental adhesives are those that you can find with your dentist. At least discuss these with your dentist to ensure thaty ou are getting ones that fit your needs.

Polident and Fixodent are the longest lasting adhesives which work best. Most adhesives will work before eating, once you eat, dentures move around and begin to rub against your gum irritating them. I get the best results with these two products.

Polygrip is by far the best. It is the most popular for a reason. You can eat anything you want even apples.

Sea Bond wafers are far from ideal and in need of huge improvements but there is no contact source to contact them on the web A company can contact me and our new wafers will put sea bond out of business or sell our product to them for billions.
