Pentecostals hold to the literal translation of tithe of "10%", which means you should give at least 10% of your income to the church.

In general the vast majority of Pentecostals believe that tithing is both an Old Testament and New Testament principle. Hence, congregation members are taught that they are to give a minimum of 10 percent of their yearly income directly to the church, and then anything else above that is considered "giving" and can be given elsewhere.
