Veterinarian medicine is the most difficult and challenging of the medical professions owing to the fact that the patients give no feedback. Diagnosis and treatment is mostly subjective and requires a keen intuition as well as years of study and practice. Fewer schools make it fiercely competitive, too.

You need to get a PhD is veterinary science. Before obtaining that, you will need an undergraduate degree in something as well.
