What are some unique ideas for wrapping gifts?

I always enjoy placing some of my smaller gifts in an extremely large box. This way there is no way for the gift receiver to possibly have any idea what they are about to receive.

You can use the comic section of the newspaper to wrap for children. Use burlap or scrap fabric for odd shapes. Also, large garbage bags are good for large gifts. Tie the top with a big bow. You can purchase huge gift bags at the dollar stores for large gifts. And those "green" totes are good and are reusable.
