What are some tips when decorating a bilevel home?

I would keep the walls and carpeting in the same color family. Maybe do a faux treatment on one wall on the next level. You could put a large throw rug on the next level to cover part of the same color carpeting. But it should stay cohesive.

The biggest thing to remember when you are doing that is to try and make sure everything you are doing on one level flows with what you have done on the other level. Check out some decoratr catalogs they have some great ideas and picture in there you can use to help you out.

Incorporate the same shades of colors from level to level to tie the decor together.. I personally would use lighter colors as it may seem darker in the lower part of the home. Neutral colors are great because if you plan to resell it makes it easy canvas for someone else.

To decorate a bilevel home, we have to be careful about its position. If the home is south faced, it will be great! The colour of wall will be white or any other light colour. It is important that the window has to be large sized the wood will be well decorated.
