Seasonal flowers and topiary bushes are always a tasteful addition to a front lawn. If you're not a gardener, the flowers or topiaries can be purchased in decorative pots to add strategic bursts of shape and color that you can rearrange at will. A garden bench with a bird bath or a bird feeder can also be quite lovely.

A pretty sundial would be a great addition. Other good options are a small bench, a raised planting bed, a miniature waterfall feature, and some beautiful stone planters. Check your local library or bookstore or search online for some great inspiration photos of pretty gardens.

Try using large rocks, particularly those with natural color or quartz running through them. It will make your yard interesting.
